Board Sea has built a leading semiconductor company's first GPU cluster in Taiwan. It was the customer's opening phase on the platform, and the estate has since been extended.
Delivery followed the four-phase model that governs every Board Sea deployment. Plan & Prepare covered requirements gathering, a data centre readiness assessment and infrastructure preparation. Install & Deploy covered rack installation to vendor specification, structured cabling, and OS, driver and firmware provisioning. Configure & Test covered software configuration, network setup, integration testing and load testing before handover.
Cabling was carried out by our own engineers: high-density fibre for the GPU interconnect, structured cable management and labelling, and end-to-end testing and certification, with full documentation delivered at handover.
A dedicated project manager acted as the single point of contact throughout. A leading semiconductor company added a further 24 GPU servers to the same estate in 2026.
