A leading semiconductor company has extended its Taiwan GPU estate with a further 24 GPU servers, installed by Board Sea on the cluster it first built in 2025.

An expansion is not a greenfield build. The additional servers had to land in a live environment and match the rack layout, cabling scheme and labelling convention already in place, so that the enlarged estate stays serviceable as one system rather than two.

Board Sea handled rack installation, high-density fibre cabling for the GPU interconnect, OS, driver and firmware provisioning, and network configuration, followed by integration and load testing before the additional capacity was handed back.

The same delivery model applied as in 2025 — one contract and one point of contact, from planning through to handover.
